Amazon decided, from January 2024, that advert free Prime videos would contain …. adverts, & graciously gave subscribers a few weeks notice of the change to come.
To view Prime videos without commercials members now have to “upgrade” & pay a separate subscription fee.
This is one of many amendments made to “Prime” membership by WEF agenda pushing Amazon* in the last few years.
A promotional video was selectively released, plus an email sent to Prime members - the bones of which were:
“Starting on 29 January, Prime Video movies and TV shows will include limited advertisements,
…. this will allow us to continue investing in compelling content and keep increasing that investment over a long period of time”.
It then went on to state all the “benefits" of being a Prime member & what compelling value the [ever increasing] subscriptions are [even though what you actually get for your money seems to have disappeared quicker than monkey pox & the war in the Ukraine].
The announcement was initially released [hidden away] on their website back in September 2023, but it didn't state how much the “upgrade” would cost.
Understandably they received backlash for this when it was announced directly to Prime members in December 2023. Some took to [anti]social media stating they were cancelling their subscriptions.
My own Prime subscription is extra special, as it includes:
• Digital music [whether streamed or downloaded] that gets stuck & jumps the same way a vinyl record does.
• Amazon turning down the volume on my telly &/or devices if they decide it's too loud
• The audio slipping completely out of sink with the visuals when watching videos
• Playlists & videos, that aren't downloaded, still playing even though my internet isn't turned on [the record is 35 minutes]
…. & finally, below is an example of my absolute favourite “Prime membership benefit” that Amazon throws into the mix on a regular basis :
Please let me know in the comments if you receive the same top notch “value for money” from “Prime”.
[I won't comment on the delivery antics as we'll be here all bleedn night 🙄]
Do I intend to pay an aditional £2.99 a month to “upgrade”? …… Stuff that!
They do seem to have taken on board the complaints, as they appear to be phasing in the amount of adverts shown.
So far, for me anyway, they have been few & far between ….. So far : but remember - that's how PooTube did it.
Below are the costs of the various subscriptions on Amazon if you want to remove the adverts:
For those that actually watch telly & “play by the rules” - The Money Expert team released some tips & tricks to save on Sky, Netflix, Now, Prime Video & more back in December that you may find useful.
“Bait n Switch”:
I've actually lost count of how many times Amazon Prime have changed what punters actually get for their monthly subscription.
There's been the removal of access to a lot of music, plus any playlists you have made or listen to now only play on shuffle rather than its actual order: this is a trick Spotify use to get folks to sign up rather than use the free version. You can also not hear all of a playlist if it's over two hours long.
Other changes I noticed are when ordering groceries.
Due to my personal circumstances I have no choice but to have my food & necessities delivered. “One hour" delivery was Included with Prime for groceries delivered from either Morrisons or Amazon Fresh. You'd place your order & it would be with you within 60 minutes. This was great for me personally, but I also use Amazon to get food & supplies to folks that are in a bit of a jam &/or maybe can't afford their food shopping or essentials for that week. But the one hour delivery soon stopped in the areas I have food delivered to as Amazon used flockdown as an excuse to stop doing those one hour deliveries.
Talking of flockdown: It was almost impossible to get a delivery slot for any of the big supermarkets, including Morrisons. Yet you could get Morrisons to deliver via Amazon? Strange that.
“Same day delivery” now has a minimum spend of £20 on most things, plus they raised the minimum order amount from £40 to £60 on grocery deliveries - but only in two areas of the UK: Birmingham & Worthing ….. Guess the only two places, in the whole of the UK, that I have groceries delivered to using Amazon …. Yep, Birmingham & Worthing [if I wasn't already paranoid …. 🙄].
Amazon got pushy with Biden & paid US staff to have con-19 shots:
Not a lot of folks are aware that Amazon delivered the con-19 jabs, worldwide, when they were “released”.
Prior to the “vaccine” rollout Amazon US “offered” to deliver covid shots whilst at the same time requesting Amazon staff be classed as priority when the shots were fired released.
I used the word “requested", but if you read the letter sent to the newly “elected” thunderbird puppet Biden from CEO Dave Clerk, you'll see it's actually rather manipulating. It has a starter of brown nosing then moves swiftly into the main course of self promotion with a side order of hard sell.
As you can see, Amazon were red hot when it came to pushing the poison. They also created personalized covid 19 employee vaccine education, & in May 2021 they announced on the US website that employees were being paid …. I'll say that again …. BEING PAID to have the con-19 shots. They also stated they were working with some local authorities to jab not only the Amazon employees, but their families too:
“According to post-vaccination surveys, many employees appreciate the convenience of the Amazon on-site vaccination events and likely would not have received the vaccine if they hadn't had the opportunity to do so at work. Our on-site program makes vaccines more accessible by eliminating barriers and making vaccinations as convenient as possible. Because some Amazon employees may not have access to an Amazon-hosted vaccination event, all current U.S. hourly, non-exempt employees receive an $80 benefit for getting vaccinated, whether on- or off-site. And for new hires who show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination, Amazon is now offering a $100 benefit.
In some locations, we've partnered with local authorities to open our vaccination program to employees' household members to ensure employees are safe from COVID-19 in the workplace and at home”

AMAZON AI VAN CAMERAS SPARK 'DYSTOPIA PRIME' CONCERNS
February 2021
Amazon.com Inc’s announcement this week that it would be rolling out AI-powered cameras in its branded delivery vans for safety has drawn criticism from privacy advocates and workers concerned with being subjected to surveillance on the job.
The world’s largest e-commerce firm said the cameras, which are developed by transportation technology company Netradyne, would improve safety of both drivers and the communities in which they deliver.
But employees like Henry Search, a 22-year-old delivery driver in Washington state, said they saw cameras capturing their work day as an "invasion of privacy"
“We are out here working all day, trying our best already,” Search told the Thomson Reuters Foundation in a phone interview. “The cameras are just another way to control us.”
Privacy advocates warned that equipping Amazon’s fleet of about 30,000 delivery vehicles with AI cameras could set a dangerous precedent for privacy.
“This appears to be the largest expansion of corporate surveillance in human history,” said Evan Greer, deputy director of tech nonprofit Fight for the Future. “If this becomes the norm, we are talking about the extinction of human privacy.”

* GLAMAZON - AMAZON'S INTERNAL LGBT+ AFFINITY GROUP
In 2021 “Glamazon”, Amazon’s internal LGBT+ affinity group, was named in the Top 10 LGBT Networks of the Global Diversity List - 2021
“The list celebrates people who work tirelessly to ensure that diversity and inclusion are at the very heart of everything they do ….
Our Glamazon affinity group run many initiatives and have a lot to be proud of. In 2018 they played a key role in launching our transgender employee guidelines, which aim to boost diversity, support and inclusion across the UK business. The guidelines include best practice on issues such as the correct use of names and pronouns and restroom accessibility.
Each year Glamazon also lead our Pride celebrations here at Amazon, June is always a special time as we celebrate the stories and achievements of our LGBTQ+ colleagues, customers and their communitie”
So in June, as with many many companies worldwide, they have folks from certain groups out on show [like animals in a zoo] to demonstrate how obedient “diverse” the company is & that it's in line with the “agenda”.
Most LGBT staff will go along with it, because they think it's the right thing to do. Whilst those “in the closet” [or who just want a quiet life with no fuss or special treatment] will be made to feel selfish for letting their employer AND “community” down because they're not “out & proud”.
Of course the Agenda 2030 “alphabet mafia” employees will soak up every minute of the attention ….. Klaus will be positively glowing.
SPOTIFY ARE TAKING THE PI$$
Here's why:
I stopped using Fakebook a few years ago as I was on a rolling ban. They'd been "obstructing" me since way before the start of con-19. I moved over to telegram & also set up a Twatter account & it didn't take long before I realised that I, like many others, was "shadow banned".
A friend added me to their "family" on Spotify, so I started making playlists. It was a nice bit of restbite from the shit show, plus I didn't have to pay.
It wasn't too long before I noticed that when my internet is off, my Spotify username, what I'm known as to their computers & bots, is actually a Facebook link.
I then noticed a lot of my playlists weren't coming up in searches. Quite often folks couldn't find my profile at all. So after about three years things are still looking a bit sad on there for me [any assistance would be greatly appreciated]
For the last week or so I've been banging on about James Melville & "No Farmers No Food" on Telegram, Twatter & Substack. Then yesterday this little gem popped up on my Spotify main page, as a suggestion:
... A complete coincidence of course
Annnd finally 👇
JUICY MELLONS
Thank you for reading my ramblings 🙏
….. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY
I despise amazon. I only order from them when all other options are exhausted. I live in the Virgin Islands and years ago they stopped free shipping for prime members. Bezos nasty yacht is here often, dirtying our waters and our people. My brother drives for Amazon and he is overworked and underpaid, doesn’t even get a discount on his purchase. And the van he drives, reports when he fails to come to a complete stop… when he yawns and probably when he farts. When something better comes along, he will be on it.
